I know it is a bit late but what a great day(yet again).I dont think that there is anything more satisfying than walking at altitude in driving rain for several hours.Cant wait for next year.

The 25th Cleveland Survival was held today from Chop Gate village. A walk of two halves. Sunny in the morning as we climbed up to Cock Howe to admire the views of Bilsdale, then heavy rain in the afternoon on Bilsdale East Moor. Congratulations to Cleveland Search and Rescue for this popular event. A pleasure to finish and to take part. I also picked up a blue fleece which I forgot to give to the organisers. If it's yours, tell me your address and I will post it.
