Yes - this event is not to be taken lightly. I have seen people running off with gusto, only to be overtaken in the later stages. It's a great event with great support and the hills afford wonderful views (if you have any breath left after the ascents!). It also has the 'feel good' factor of raising money for worthwhile charities. Thanks wholeheartedly to all involved.
