Many thanks to all you Merseystriders for a great day on Saturday, in particular to Chris and the others who led the 18-mile B2 walk. A fine route through the glorious West Cheshire countryside, with an excellent pub dinner (precisely timed to coincide with the only real rain of the day!), in convivial company. The organisers did a tremendous logistical job of shepherding four groups through the Weaver Valley and Delamere Forest without any major collisons.

The Mid-Cheshire Ridge is one of my favourite walking areas, so as soon as I learned that this year's AGM was to be held in Frodsham, I put the date in my diary; thanks again for a classic LDWA day out.
