This is one of my favorite walks, always well organised. Jelly Babies and flapjack at checkpoint 2 fantastic.

I agree with everything Helen says although the mud was'nt as bad as I thought it would be. As usual a great event.

Mud, mud, glorious knee-deep sludge! :-)

And some great views across the rolling mid-Wales hills (sleet permitting).

A really enjoyable walk with well-placed, cheerful checkpoints adn a warm and welcoming hall to come back to at the end (with great sarni's). This is the second time I've done the CCC - the first time was 2 years ago when the shortest route was my first ever LDWA event. This year I did the 17 mile route - my 12th event. Thanks to everyone at the CCC organising team for putting on such a good event in such a lovely part of the world.
