There is food at checkpoints on the BS. I seem to recall cake & rice pudding at Edale, jam sandwiches at Castleton, soup at Millers Dale, cake at Chelmerton etc. I also seem to recall an outbreak of Penguin bars one year ! Sadly, I'm away this year so won't be doing it, but it is a great event. Garfield

Having previously done the Longmynd Hike another similar scouting event which offers no refreshments at the checkpoints, I was wondering what the refreshments are like on the Bullock Smithy?
