Definitely a hard'un! Beautiful route and fantastic views, despite low cloud, drizzle and strong wind in our faces for most of the way. Lots of water and very soft ground underfoot. But, sun came out in afternoon and warmed the soul.
Massive thanks to the organisers and marshalls, many of whom had to brave bleak conditions on the checkpoints. Lots of really yummy homemade cakes kept us going and the fish and chips at the end were superb. Thanks also to the hosts at the Golden Fleece.
Definitely an event to be recommended!
