We have enjoyed this event in previous years, but find it too crowded and stressful now. Also they do not allow dogs anymore. The full waymarking is good for those who can't navigate, but attracts many more people. Too many in my opinion, though it's a very successful fundraiser for their school.

Not in the strider as I think it breaches the maximum no of entries but great event, well organised, good food, but a strenuous mud plug. Good that profits go to help the local school. Route a little tedious with a lot of field edges, but great views of Belvoir castle. Watch the milage though as someone with a GPS registered it as 29 miles, which is a big difference when wading through 6 inches of mud with every step!!
