Cheers David. That’s very reassuring.

Hi Pete,

Yes, fully aware of the dogs in the farm. The route volunteers have been tasked to speak to the farmer again. He knows about the event and will be reminded that entrants are due to pass through his farm late afternoon / evening of the Saturday into the early hours of Sunday. They will call on him in the next two weeks.

I’m currently doing a recce of the route and had a run in today with three aggressive dogs at the farm referenced in 5.3 of the route description. One of them nipped me on the leg which was rather scary. No one was about so I just jumped over the first stile I saw to get away.
I was probably just unlucky but, if you are recceing in this area, take care.
