For the information of all who might be thinking of recceing Y 100 Sir Fynwy.
A huge beech tree has come down at GR ST 52390 96604 which is located on Stage 15. It has been reported to the local authority and contacts with a local Walkers Are Welcome group are also assisting with the lobbying of the Rights of Way team.
We are working on an alternative route should the tree not be removed, but for the purpose of those recceing the route, the tree is easy to pass to the left by walking into the undergrowth that is not dense. This alternative would not be suitable for the main event, but will suffice in the short term.
