Chris Kennedy. Just turn up at the QE High School and you will be directed to the next available parking space. All parking is now within 200 metres of the event HQ building

Can you provide an update on car parking facilities and transfers to the start (10am) for independent car travellers driving to Hexham.
Thanks.

There has been a much higher demand for parking spaces than was originally anticipated. At the moment 350 people want to bring cars and there are only 250 spaces on the site. We are looking at various options for overflow parking but we will not have a definite answer until much nearer the date.
If we have to use the more distant option, there will be a shuttle on the Saturday morning from the car park .Transport back to the car park will be arranged on Sunday when vehicles are available but there will be a more frequent service, depending on demand, after everyone who drops out at the breakfast stop has been brought back to Hexham

With regards to the email received via SiEntries regarding parking for the event. Does anyone know the location of the car parking for single passenger vehicles? It states that there is a shuttle bus from HQ on Monday, I assume that there is a shuttle to HQ for the start on the Saturday.
Will there be shuttles leaving HQ to the car park throughout the night or will the shuttle only operate once the event has finished? It could be a very long wait for those finishing or retiring well before the 48 hour time limit.
