I was disappointed by the clash with the football and requested that they move it to Sunday but for some reason Gareth ignored my email. Updates at checkpoints saved the day. It was a great route with wonderful views and all at the checkpoints as ever were fantastic, I can't imagine how many gallons of drinks we went through between us in that heat.
