There are often really good deals for bulk orders of business cards online. Perhaps a few could be added to the envelope with an edition of Strider for members to carry with them/bring into their offices etc?
Apologies if already available (very new member here!); but some digital flyers in pdf format which members could print and leave in their office/local library etc. would be a possible alternative.

LDWA calling cards are already in use by a number of regional groups. Contact David Holland, LDWA publicity officer ay publicity@ldwa.org.uk, as he be able to help, either by supplying cards or advising how you might get some.

Thanks Iain. Rather than re-post on another topic I'll ping Graham an email.
Yes, I've often been asked at events what is going on, so that would be another opportunity to hand these out to publicise the LDWA.

Brilliant idea, Tim.

Marshalling on the N Yks hundred, outside the school and, in particular, at the final road junction, there were loads of people (dog walkers and locals) passing who asked what the event was, and not one had heard of either it or the LDWA. If we'd had cards to give out - these could be distributed in the vicinity of next year's hundred HQ - it would have helped publicise the event and inform the locals regarding e.g. the mass start and last finishers.

Suggest you copy the posting in the Hundreds section of the Forum.

To help increase LDWA awareness/membership I wondered if it would be worth providing members with a supply of LDWA calling cards (business card style) - maybe with a QR code to direct people to the LDWA website. Members could hand these out to other walkers (potential members) we bump into when out and about, and the size would mean that they could easily be carried in a wallet or pocket. If it would be too costly to mail these out to members, perhaps there could be a supply at LDWA events for members who would be happy to hand these out.
