OFFA'S TWISTED WYE KANTER

URGENT INFORMATION
Path closures that were planned by Natural Resources Wales for Spring 2018 have been brought forward to January 2018 and the planned routes for 2018 are NO LONGER VIABLE.
However, due to some forward planning, the event CAN go ahead, but the routes have been completely altered and explore different countryside.
IF YOU HAVE PRINTED OFF ANY ROUTE DOCUMENTATION PRIOR TO 16:30 Hrs 12.01.18, PLEASE DO NOT USE AS THIS IS OUT OF DATE.
THE NEW ROUTES, GPX FILES, QUESTION SHEETS, RECOMMENDED ROUTE SHEETS AND GRID REFERENCE SHEETS HAVE BEEN UPLOADED TO:
http://www.southwalesldwa.org/wp/?page_id=1254

There are alterations to route distances:
The 22 mile route has become a 25 mile route. (We've just given you an hour's extra pleasure)
The 20 mile route has become a 19 mile route.
The 16 and 12 mile route distances are unaffected but you will be following new routes.

We sincerely apologise for the amendments in relation to circumstances that are completely out of our control.
Regards,
David Morgan

"Offa's Twisted Wye Kanter 2" is open for business!

A winter event based on the town of Chepstow, a town that some of you will get to know quite well in 2020. It's a glorious old town with a Norman castle, a magnificent river and countryside that is very pretty.

Last year's Offa's Twisted Wye Kanter was the first of its kind. A report on the event can be read at:
http://www.southwalesldwa.org/wp/?page_id=2385

This year's kanter has four new routes and entries can be made at:

https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?event_id=3517

There is a maximum limit of 150 and this event filled out last year. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to Chepstow on 28.01.18.

Regards,

David Morgan
