Many thanks to South Manchester LDWA, the Mountain Rescue group and others who helped on Sunday 9th October. This was a marvellous event and we were blessed with beautiful weather. What great support all round from smiling people, lots of tasty snacks, and an exemplary route description, along with the labour of love which went into those attractive & accurate hand drawn route maps. A modern Wainwright? Along with all the signage it was impossible to get lost! Fantastic views for miles from the high points. It was good to see that entries were even better than last year-a welcome new event to the calendar. Put it in your diary for next year.
