Thanks to the organisers for a well-run MMM on Saturday. This was the first challenge walk I've done for a few years and I really enjoyed it.

As I recall when I did the 35 mile version a few years ago, we started heading north over Worcestershire Beacon at the start, I wondered if there was a reason why the route isn't sometimes varied to do it the other way round a) for variety and b) to put the hardest hills at the start of the walk rather than than back-loading them to the last 5 or so miles!

Finally I was walking back into Malvern, I noticed the Fire Service's landrover with its accompanying mountain vehicle heading out towards the Wyche with sirens & lights going. I hope this wasn't going to rescue one of the people taking part in the MMM.
