Hi Tim - yes I'm afraid BRT 1&2 have been kicked into touch for the time being at least. However we hope to organise the Rings as well or if not better so come and see us on the 18th June if you're back!

Does this now mean that the Border reiver Trod 1 and 2 are now cancelled. I enjoyed them but am away in Canada at the moment and saw BR 1 was cancelled whilst away.
They were very well organised events and suffered from lack of support, I was hoping to take part in the October one this year if on

I have been informed of a problem downloading the entry form from the Shap Community web site. Apparently it is necessary to use the print button in Flash player not in Internet Explorer.
The site indtuctions now make this clear.

What a nice surprise to see this shiny new website. I am promoting our inaugural event from Shap on 18.6.05. Something for everyone with walks from 18 miles to the full 100k.
There has been a lot of interest which I would like to see converted into lots of entries!
The local community is getting involved and there is now a down-loadable entry form on the Shap Community web site -

www.ShapCumbria.co.uk

(not .org.uk as misprinted on the paper entry form)
I would welcome comments, advice, criticism etc as it is a very steep learning curve organising a big event like this.
