Great photos John. I've done it quite a few times, but I couldn't do it this year. Its amazing at how different it looked in the snow.

I did the 17 mile route of the the Two Crosses today - a cracking day out.

Ground conditions were testing (gloopy mud at low levels, snow on the higher ground), but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the event.
The East Lancs do a cracking job of running this event. I'm a man who definitely marches on his stomach (hence my girth!), and I found the catering to be excellent: one main checkpoint where you could fill yer boots with GOOD food, and a selection of really delicious home-made soups at the end.

Where else can you enjoy a grand day out, get two good meals, and enjoy good company....all for £7.

Thanks East Lancs!

JJ
