Thanks to BBN for putting this event on once more - the unique format makes it particularly well suited to the vagaries of early March weather, I think, and the Chilterns always have something of interest even in the grimmest of conditions.
The weather certainly mixed it up this time around - constant driving rain all morning, followed by snow in the afternoon (nearing blizzard conditions at times up on the hills) before finally giving way to glorious spring sunshine in the early evening. Oh, and lots of mud, something I'd almost gotten nostalgic for this year.
