I agree - walking is so good for your health. My partner was a type 2 diabetic, and a year ago started walking, lost 2 stone in weight and in his recent diabetic check at the doctors, everything came back normal!

A very varied route with nearly 3000ft of climb in 21 miles, we walked sunken paths, open moorland, disused railway lines and through very nice villages and towns. 21 miles is not a very long walk unless its your first event, then its a great achievement, at least that is what our neighbour, John thought. John was diagnosed with very high blood pressure and high cholesterol six months ago, we have encouraged him in his walking and now his health is fine and he is looking forward to his next event. Many thanks to the organisers for a great event.
