And just to correct Madelaine's comments in Events Diary, "Summer in Lakeland" is a re-seasoned "Autumn in Lakeland" (Morecambe Bay & Bowland), not "Spring in Lakeland" (Westmorland & North Lancs). W & NL will not be running "Spring in Lakeland" this year. Instead Malcolm & Ann Busby will be masterminding "By Lake, Ridge & Wainwright" from Rosthwaite Village Hall on Saturday 14th July.

Anybody brave enough to put on "Winter in Lakeland"? It would certainly be a challenge at the moment.

This Challenge Event has been listed in the December Strider for Wednesday 20th June, this is not correct. The correct date for the above Challenge Event is Saturday 30th June 2012. The correct date is now being shown on the LDWA events calendar and on the MBB web page. The correction has also been made for the next issue of Strider.
