Took on the Arden Way last Thursday (24/03/11) and found it to be a lovely walk around the fields, hills and lanes of Warwickshire. The 26 miles took me 10 hours and 10 minutes. I started at 6am and finished at 4.10pm, footsore and relieved. Lots of stiles, and I mean LOTS, as well as gates. Very little in the way of uphill climbs and only one severe downhill. Some of the waymarking can be confusing so be careful and use the guidebook, which could also be a little more precise in certain areas.
Has anybody else taken on this walk recently?
