Jimmy- glad you enjoyed it! Good to run with you at the beginning. It was nice to go to a different area. We went through some lovely areas doing a circuit of Derby. (I've forgotten about the ploughed fields - they were relatively short!)

I must say, though, that I think this event is going to get a "best rate of tea per mile" award. There were only 5 checkpoints, but I got a cup of tea at all of them. Brill!

I ran this last Sunday as my first LDWA event and really enjoyed it all. Beautiful day, superb course (well except for the last four miles). Friendly Check Point staff and runners/walkers. I will definately be back for more.

Thanks to all who organised, marshalled or participated.
