I don't think there is any realistic chance of this event being resurrected in the forseeable future. It always used to be held on the 3rd. Saturday in June. We are currently using that date to hold our 'Three Rings of Shap' walks which might offer a little consolation.

David the Four Peaks is not being held at the moment due to the trouble at Lords Rake. Rodger Burgin the last organiser did talk of re-instateing it but I do not think he got very far.

Does anyone have any info on this 45 Mile 24 hour walk . It used to be held in June , starting & ending in Keswick , taking in Skiddaw ,The Scafells and Helvelynn on its long circular route . No one seems to know anything about the 4 Peaks these days!
