Thanks to High Peak and South Mancs group for the fab walk yesterday! Lots of bog-trotting - and thank goodness for the good weather!
You may recall(!) the slog(!) up the HUGE(!) grassy hill up by Jacob's Ladder to the memorial for Wing Commander Dickie Spear. Well.... I've been Googling..... and found some fab info about him and some photos. Click the links below or paste them into your address bar:
