This is the website of the Dorset Group of the Long Distance Walkers Association. Any problems, broken links, comments: please e-mail hardy.annual@btinternet.com

The LDWA is an Association of people with the common interest of walking long distances in rural, mountainous or moorland areas. By joining the LDWA, you will meet other like-minded long distance walkers and gain access to information on walking events and long distance walking routes all over the UK. Go to the tab "About the LDWA" for more details.

The Dorset Group of the LDWA was founded in 1993. The group organises regular social walks (see Future Events page) and two challenge walks (see Challenge Walks page) each year, one being the Dorset Doddle, a 32 mile walk along the coastal path from Weymouth to Swanage. In 2018, the challenge events will be the Doddle West and the Dorset Doddle.

Please get in contact with one of the committee, or come along for a social walk if you are interested. You can find out about what happens on a Social Walk by going to the About Social Walks page) in the Group Activities menu.
