Route
From the historic church of Holdgate in the heart of the Corvedale Valley

- the 22 and 10 mile routes climb to Abdon Burf, the highest point in Shropshire. After visiting Clee St Margaret village Hall for much needed refreshments both routes return via the Jack Mytton Way to Tugford, the short route returns to Holdgate and the long route climbs Wenlock Edge for superb views out to mid Wales
New for 2020 is the 14 mile route that starts in Holdgate, makes its way to Tugford and joins the long route to visit Broncroft Castle, Wenlock Edge and the second checkpoint in Eaton Church (famed for its Scone station and seventeenth century pulpit)

General Notes
The members of the churches have been a great support to the Marches group by running checkpoints and baking legendary cakes, so we are saying thank you by holding this event to support them. Camping available on Friday night. No dogs. Under 18s with parent or guardian. Please bring a mug. Map: Explorer 217

Entry: 22ml £13, 14 and 10ml £10 incl fantastic checkpoints, two on the long route, one on the short, with hot dogs and drinks to welcome you home. Online entry from 1st October. Entries on the day accepted if the event is not full, but please check in advance
