Montgomery Walking Festival

Fri 4th - Sun 6th Oct 2019

Walk Details:

Event Type
Walking Festival
Region
Wales
Description
This is a programme of seven guided walks varying from the 3 mile Town Hill walk for all the family (no booking required) to a 19 mile challenge route taking in some of the most spectacular Borders scenery in this historic and unspoiled area. There is evening food and entertainment available, including the famous Monty's Brewery Festival Oktoberfest (no booking required), with accommodation available in the beautiful old former County town of Montgomery. Apart from the one exception mentioned all other walks have limited places and need to be booked well in advance to secure participation. Unfortunately, due to the livestock based farmland these walks go through, walkers will not be able to take their dogs on the walks. However dogs are welcome in the town shops, cafes and hotel, along with most of the listed accommodation. Full details and booking form can be found on the Montgomery Walking Festival 2019 website
