Route
From the Burbage Institute, Buxton. Open to walkers and runners, with free parking available off Bishops Lane GR SK043731

The 24.5 route is through the Western Peak District, taking in Solomon's Temple, Axe Edge, Goyt Valley, Shining Tor, Lamaload Reservoir, Kettleshulme, Taxal Moor and Fernilee. The route is mostly on fps and tracks and includes some moorland sections with a total ascent of 4,000ft. The 13.2 route also goes via Solomon's Temple and Axe Edge to the Goyt Valley (Errwood Hall) and returns from Fernilee Dam to Buxton

General Notes
Dogs allowed on short lead. Entries limited to 250. Entry is via SiEntries (www.sientries.co.uk). Entrants must carry/wear full waterproofs, compass, map and a mug. Event jointly organised by South Manchester and High Peak LDWA groups. Entry fees are £13.20 LDWA members, Scouts/Guides, and £15.00 to all others. Closing date is 16 October 2019
