From the Henderson Hall in Talybont-On-Usk

The 22 mile Endurance route ascends on to the Brecon Beacons ridge over the summit of Fan-y-Big and Cribyn before reaching Pan-y-Fan, the highest point in South Wales. The route then descends to the south east following mountain paths and forest trails before the final peak of Tor-y-Foel, then returning to the Henderson Hall. The Alternative route is still a high level mountain walk, rising high on to the Brecon Beacon ridge, but omits Pen-y-Fan by taking a shorter route south east before rejoining the Endurance route for the ascent of Tor-Y-Foel and the return to Talybont-on-Usk. The Taster walk is a 10 mile lower level route suitable for families with self guided and lead options available

General Notes
Brecon Mountain Rescue may request those deemed not on schedule to finish in daylight to retire. Full kit check at start and randomly en route. All entrants for the Endurance and Alternative routes must be over 18 on day of event, but there are no age restrictions for the Taster route, with dogs on a lead welcome. Includes transport for retirees, showers, hot drinks & biscuits at finish
