Route
Gold route (SK319867): King Edward VII Lower School, Sheffield, S10 5RG. Silver route: Nether End pay and display car park, Baslow, DE45 1SR. Bronze route: Longshaw Estate car park, S17 3BL

The 50 mile (1,381m of ascent) route (Gold), 25 mile (648m of ascent) route (Silver) and 15 mile (238m of ascent) route (Bronze) each follow footpaths, bridleways, trails and some roads. The Gold route takes the grit-stone edges to Youlgrave (near Bakewell) before making its way back to Sheffield

£50; junior (u16) £25 (teams of four can be entered for £100; teams of four junior (u16): £50) route notes (emailed). Refreshments along the route. Hot meal at the halfway location. Vehicle lift back to start (for Bronze and for anyone who can’t quite make the full fifty miles). Finishers’ certificates
