This walk takes in the very best of Charnwood Forest and includes Swithland Woods, the treasure that is Bradgate Park, Newtown Linford (pubs, cafes, ice creams etc), Ulverscroft Priory, Bawdon Castle, Charley Chapel and Beacon Hill

The very best for the very best, as this Anytime Anywhere anytime challenge route will from this day forward be permanently dedicated to the lovely John Nickerson, friend, regular leader for and participant of the LDWA Anytime Anywhere Group, who died last year and is greatly missed. Charnwood Forest had always been one of John’s favourite areas and the Charnwood Charmer does exactly what it says on the tin and would have pleased him enormously
