General Notes
The 21st occasion on which we remember the founders of the LDWA by visiting the beautiful locations associated with them: Blatchford Down, Steer’s Field, Tanners Hatch Youth Hostel, Pitch Hill Toposcope and the old Peaslake Post Office. Off-road, on good footpaths and tracks in the Surrey Hills, designated an AONB in 1958. The routes offer a wonderful mixture of autumnal forest and downland. Together with the welcome provided at Cps and fine food at the finish, these elements make the Founders’ Challenge A Memorable Day Out!. Entry opens 1st Apr 2017, closes 9th Oct 2017.
