Route

The Moray Mountaineering Club bus will drop off the LDWA walkers at the start of the walk at Auchallater at about 9.30am

Starting from Auchallater and walking SE through Glen Callater and over the high level Jock's Road to Craigs of Loch Esk, then NE to Bachnagrairn and then down to Loch Muick. Finishing at the Spittal of Glenmuick carpark. Bus PU between 4 & 5pm for the trip back home via a pub stop in Ballater. Usually getting back to Elgin for 9pm

General Notes

LDWA members only and we are restricted to 10 places initially, but more will be allowed if there is space on the bus on the Thursday before the bus meet. Bus pick up times are Elgin 07.00, Forres 07.20, no dogs on the bus. £15 cash to the MMC bus meet coordinator on the day. Due to day length, the bus meets are unsuitable for children
