This route, first walked by Anytime Anywhere in 1992, although not by me, as I was at Wembley, watching Nottingham Forest (they were the days!), needs a lift from the doldrums, with few takers, and no guidebook readily available, due to being well out of print. So, who better than local boy John Knight, in conjunction with the foraging AA specialist group, to rediscover a worthy route that stays close to the borough boundary and includes an absolute diversity of terrain: parkland, woodland, moorland, urban and river paths
