Meet at Pepperbox Hill c.p. 5ml SE of Salisbury

Walk heads S from Pepperbox Hill through forests to the classic New Forest Heathland at Bramshaw telegraph. Lunch stop at pub in Normansland where cattle and ponies graze on the village green. Pls bring packed lunch as there won't be time to eat in pub. From Normansland N to Dean Hill where there are spectacular views northwards. E along ridge to c.p. Dogs welcome

General Notes
This corner of Wiltshire is unlike the rest of the county as it is sandstone rather than chalk which makes the mud much less sticky
