General Notes
Many people know of the Red Cross for our high profile work in disaster zones overseas, but the British Red Cross is also in virtually every community across the UK, helping people to deal with the local and individual crises they face. ‘Crisis’ takes many different forms, from a house fire that leaves a family on the street with nothing, to a flood that devastates a whole community, to an accident that leaves a young mum housebound and unable to care for her young children while she recovers. But one thing is for sure, when crisis strikes the Red Cross is there to help people make it through their darkest hours
