The good news is that, unless there's a tsunami or rain of biblical proportions, my walk next Sunday will go ahead.  The bad news is, that following today's pre-walk, I've had to shorten the distance to 17 miles.

The walk begins outside the entrance to Kemble station, on the London-bound side (Platform 1).  There are toilets, and the cafe may be open.

The going is good to soft. Walking boots are essential. If you have walking poles and gaiters, please bring them,

Due to some flooded paths, we will be walking on road from Ashton Keynes to Cerney Wick and then again from South Cerney to Ewen. Please wear/attach something hi-viz.

The mid-morning break will be in Ashton Keynes. The lunch stop will be at the Cotswold Gateway Centre, where there is a cafe (with toilets and plenty of outside seating) and Cotswold Outdoor.

Finally, as if the flooding of the footpaths wasn't bad enough ...
