Hi everyone,

It's time to formally remind the group's membership of the details of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

  • Date: Sunday 1st December 2019 (following a walk and xmas meal)
  • Venue: Royal Oak, Wootton Rivers, Marlborough, SN8 4NQ

As  per the 3-year rule in the group's constitution, the Walks Secretary role needs to be re-elected at the forthcoming AGM.

  • Bruce Barclay has been invited to fill the role of Walks Secretary vacated by Andy Todd.

Further nominations are invited for the role.

Motions are also invited from members for discussion at the AGM.

Nominations and motions must be received by the group's Secretary by Sunday 17th November 2019.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
