Wiltshire LDWA

Our xmas meal takes place on Sunday 2nd December 2018 at The Seven Stars, Bradford Road, Winsley, Bradford-on-Avon, BA15 2LQ. Lunch will be served at 1330hrs followed by our AGM.

For all those who have either led walks or marshalled we will be subsidising the meal, reducing the cost to £10.00. The full price will be £22.50.

This has to be the last date for menu choices as venue needs to know the choices as soon as possible.  We have permission to park in their car park prior to our walk which Bruce expects to finish by 1230hrs, Lesley Bellis will be collecting all monies after the walk BEFORE you go into the pub.

rolled and stuffed with chestnut & sage stuffing, pigs in blankets,

Braised Beef Featherblade
pearl onions, chestnut mushrooms in a rich red wine sauce, buttered mash potato & parsnip crisps

Mushroom, Chestnuts, Baby Spinach & Stilton En Croute
sautéed new potatoes and cranberry & red cabbage gravy

Pan Fried Fillet of Hake
fricasse of prawns, chorizo, sun blushed tomatoes, baby spinach and saffron & dill beurre blanc

Pan Seared Barbary Duck Breast
onion & thyme potato rosti, tender stem broccoli and blueberry jus & crispy leeks

All Main Courses are served with Seasonal Vegetables

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
