I know that we have a strong group with frequent good walks, particularly the Tuesday Social Walk, which is very popular. However, we can always improve!

Therefore, having taking over the role of Chair of the West Lancs Group of the LDWA, I feel that it is important that I and the Committee fully understand the wishes of everyone such that we can ensure that we tailor the walks and events of the Group to meet the requirements of the members.

Whilst we do all talk on walks and regularly give informal feed back I feel that a formal survey in the form of a Questionnaire might more readily achieve this in particular from those members who only attend walks and events infrequently.

I therefore attach a link to the Questionnaire which has been developed to try and provide an overview of the thoughts of all the members. It is just two pages long and should not take more than 15 minutes of your time. It can be completed anonymously or if you want us to provide some feedback then you can add your contact details.

I know I often groan when asked to complete something like this but I hope that you feel that you can complete it as I believe it will give us a good insight and either confirm that all is well with the Group or point us in the right direction for some changes so that we can build upon what the Group already does.

At one of the next Group Meetings I will present an overview of the findings for discussion and action if we feel that is required.
