Terry Griffith's Final Tour

On the 30th. October several members attended the scattering of Terry's ashes at Lilla Cross on the North Yorkshire Moors. Jean Bobker laid a wreath on behalf of West Lancs L.D.W.A. John Barker & Rossie, Nigel Dean, Jeff & Enid Parr and John Evenden joined over 100 others to pay their respects. After a brief service, most attended a Wake at Pickering.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
