Route
Riverside c.p., Towneley Park, Burnley BB10 4PJ. There are several car parks - this is the one in the centre near to the garden centre. Cost £1.50 for the day. Dogs to be on short leads. The easiest way to access this is to use the entrance to the park on
Todmorden Road - the A671 not far from the centre of Burnley and close by to
the football ground. If you are coming from the M65 use the J10 exit, turn
right for Burnley and then follow the tourist signs for Townley Hall/Tourist
attractions, which will take you to that entrance. Follow the road through
the park, past the entrance to the college and then bear left when the road
splits. The entrance to the car park is then just a little further on, on
your right. The cost is £1.50 for the day. The postcode for your Satnav is BB11 3ER, which should take you just beyond
the entrance to the car park on Todmorden Road.
