A Wander to Little Hollland (ad hoc) - March 2017

A wander to little Holland – 25th March

With us hosting a checkpoint on this years hundred event in North Yorkshire it was decided to have a little walk from the event HQ to the farm shop for morning break and return along the official route back to the HQ.

As the NYM100 committee got in touch with me to drop a few leaflets off en-route we decided to walk the official route there and back.

Leaving a little after the advertised 9am (Aaron again!!!) we left Malton towards Low Marishes

4.5 miles later we arrived at the Whole Hog farm shop at Howe Bridge Farm for a lovely stop over and met Suzanne who showed us to the barn we are to use as CP16.

With everybody happy we crossed the busy A169 towards Grove House.

Crossing a few fields we arrived at Riggs Road to turn south. Just pass Eden House we turned down Great Sike Road passing Windmill farm then Ryton Style Road to cross over the A64.

Returning back to our cars we had a cracking day and are looking forward to hosing you all at CP16 on the North York Moors 100 in May.

WIth some Edam, Clogs and Tulips!!!
