As a result of the recent GDPR (Data Protection) requirements, we have been looking at the way we use your personal details to communicate messages to you.

Currently, when sending out messages about changes to walk details etc, Secretary Dave has to use 4/5 separate email groups.  This is due to system provider limitations.  As you can imagine this takes a lot of time to set up & use and could be liable to errors or missed addressees.  

Having discussed the issue at a recent committee meeting, it was decided to have a look at the LDWA bulk email service.  With a view to reducing the complications of sending messages to all members and to eliminating the possibility of mistakes being made.  While keeping your personal data safe & secure.

You are receiving this (test) email as you are a subscribing member of The Irregulars.  Because you have chosen us as either your Primary or Associate LDWA walking group, it allows us to send a message to all of you, in a single mail group.

You need do nothing to acknowledge its receipt, as a previous test email, sent to a selected few, has proved the process.

Having said that please make it known to either myself, Jeff, Dave Sharp or Motty that you did get an email and we would appreciate your feedback on its use.
