Recipe for Scrunch

  • 4 oz butter
  • 2 oz sugar (Demerara)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons golden syrup
  • 2 oz desiccated coconut
  • 2 oz cornflakes
  • 2 oz porridge oats
  • 2 oz self raising flour

Method

Melt butter, sugar, syrup. Remove from heat and add coconut, cornflakes, porridge oats and flour. Beat well together and press into an oiled Swiss roll tin. Mark out into squares with sharp knife before cold. Refrigerate over night. ENJOY!
