Response to the earlier appeal for help, should the Group decide to take over the organisation of the Chiltern Marathon, has been very limited. We cannot take this on unless we can identify, at the least, somebody willing to take the leading role of co-ordinator. If nobody comes forward before our committee meeting on 12th August it is unlikely that we would be able to run the event in 2020.
If, like us, you would be sorry to see this enjoyable event become just a distant memory, please think about whether, with help and advice from others, you might consider taking this on, and let us know within the next few days.
