Calling all Cake Makers!
Yes it’s that time of the year again when the committee ask you to help out by providing cakes for the Oxon 40 / 20 Challenge. Our event has the reputation of providing excellent hospitality, not least the superb cakes you manage to provide for our entrants (and Marshals!) every year.
Therefore if can help out by providing one or more cakes, please will you let JAN SAMBROOK know by the 21st April. The event, as most of you will know, is on Saturday 5th May starting at Longburrow Hall, Stokenchurch. You can deliver your cakes on Friday evening (4th May) from 5pm or early on Saturday morning, or contact us if you are unable to do this and we will try to help. Loaf, tray bakes and rectangular cakes are the easiest to cut into bite sized chunks and please no icing or gooey fillings.
All cake makers may claim back expenses incurred against receipts and monies will be reimbursed by our treasurer, Mike Evans.
Therefore, please send details of the cakes you are able to provide to Jan who will be logging your offers of help.
