The Three Shires

A choice of 30, 28, 23 and 21 mile routes

Start at Swythamley and Heaton Centre (SK11 0SJ) (Map OL24 GR GR SJ965631 ). Circular route with checkpoints via Gun Hill, The Roaches, Lud's Church, Gradbach, Three Shires Head, Wildboarclough,
Shutlingsloe (30, 23 mile routes only), Cheshire loop (30, 28 mile routes), Danebridge. 

Registration from 07:00.
Start time 08.00 walkers and 09.00 runners.  All entrants must finish by 19:15.  Latest time for starting Cheshire loop: 14:15.  Latest time to leave Wildboarclough: 16:30.

Entry Fee: £7 LDWA members; £13 non-members; £15 on the day only if limit of 160 not reached (unlikely).
Included are detailed route description, refreshments at the checkpoints, meal at finish and completion certificate.

Friday night floor space £2.  Event badge £1.50.

Equipment required: Map OL24, compass, whistle, waterproofs and a mug.

Retirements to be made only at checkpoints.

Dogs are allowed if entrants keep their dog on a short lead throughout the event (bird nesting season) and accept responsibility for any problems caused by the dog.

***Unfortunately dogs will not be allowed on the Shutlingsloe loop so may only be taken on the 21 and 28 mile routes***

Staffordshire LDWA, the organisers, accept no liability for any injury, damage or loss caused by an entrant's dog. Dogs are not allowed in the village halls.
