(Easy (honest!) the walk follows the general route taken by Prince Charles Edward Stuart on his march in 1745 from Ashbourne to Derby - reversed, through woods and farmland. Well behaved dogs welcomed, on leads at all times.
Parking at Ashbourne railway station DE61BW to catch the 08:20 bus to Derby and walk back. There are pubs in Thurvaston and Longford so expect a pub stop to be included.)
