(Elan Valley, Mid Wales, near Rhayader. There will be a choice of 2 walks (one longer than the other) on both Saturday and Sunday and for those staying on Sunday evening there will be a shorter walk on Monday. There is a selection of accommodation in and around Rhayader, Hostels, Hotels, cottages, B & B's and camping. The walks will start from the Elan Valley Visitor Centre, approximately 3.5 miles from Rhayader, which is something you may want to consider when booking accommodation. There is a good caravan and campsite approximately 3/4 mile from the visitor centre (www.elanoaks.co.uk). It is essential that you register your interest by the 19th July, to ensure that you receive details when they become available.)

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
